Premium Black News and the Art of Blogging Bull-S! DJ Akademiks and P Diddy Puff Daddy Sean Combs

 DJ Akademiks aka Livingstone Allen

The dude seems in deep trouble so it may be time for him to stop drinking and keep quiet until the case is over. Is that possible? The whole thing sounds nasty and expensive. Who knows? We are now in the court of public opinion who knows what happens next. He may have to settle out of court, if there is a case. Who knows.

P Diddy Puff Daddy Sean Combs and that Cassie Video

CNN is circulating a video of extreme disturbing violence and abuse in a public area, no audio. All Cassie wanted to do was get away. That was all she wanted. She was leaving. LEAVING but SHE COULDN'T.

How many women want to leave but can't? It's not that easy. Horrible! DISGUSTING!

2024 is turning out to be some year!

Kendrick Lamar vs Drake Rap Diss Track and Battle: Did Kendrick Tells Lies About Drake in Meet the Grahams? Are those heresy, rumours without Proof, evidence or receipts?

As a Drake Listener (fan may be going too far) when Kendrick Lamar dropped his divisive not one of us and the Meet the Grahams , I thought it was Game Over. I thought Kendrick Lamar had not only won the battle but also the WAR!

HE DESTROYED DRAKE.  ANNIHILATED HIS REPUTATION, DESECRATED IT. ASSASSINATED  HIS CHARACTER

But now it appears Kendrick Lamar allegations are LIES! THOSE ARE SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS

WE'LL HAVE TO SEE.

SAYING THIS DRAKE HAS DONE SOME OF HIS BEST AND FINEST WORK SO FAR.

The case of $95 million, Mel Tucker, Willy Bo-bo and inappropriate sexual conducts on the telephone.

Mel, Mel, Mel. It's tough. Mr Tucker.

I discussed this case with someone and it's shame. It's a shame that it came to that. Listening to both parties, here is my unproven take on the situation.

I think when Mel Tucker finished his misconduct starring Willy Bo-bo downstairs, it grew awkward and he realised he had messed up. And rather than apologising and seeking legal advice as in taking a misstep, he decided to FADE OUT Ms Tracey. GHOST HER.

Then he got back with his wife, and then warned Ms Tracy to stop talking about him and his wife and family, and worse of all, he messed with Ms Tracy's income. He cancelled her next lecture . . .  or said it got rearranged.

According to the Guardian, Michigan State paid her $10,000 for her first lecture so
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/sep/18/msu-to-fire-football-coach-mel-tucker-over-phone-call-with-abuse-activist so cancelling or rearranging her lecture worth $10,000? We all know what postponing a lecture means.

She then decided to report his misconduct because lets' face it, if he didn't do a sexual misconduct he wouldn't be trying to do court of public opinion on her. Mel Tucker was trying to demonise Ms Tracy and he was cheap too.

The irony is Ms Tracy looks like the wife.

I wish them both well, and I hope lessons have been learnt.

Will Joe Budden podcast - NoJamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell, but who cares?

To be frank, I stopped listenly regularly when the Joe Budden podcast left Spotify. Spotify was easy for me, I would just switch it on during my down time and click on the segments I wanted to listen to. I caught up from time to time with the Joe Budden podcast on youtube but it's rather messy with all the adverts and on my device.

Then Joe Budden decided to go for Patronon or whatever it is called and charge people. Then he started to dulute the brand in his boss moves with the women talk podcast. But like I said in a previous post, I mainly started to listen to Spotify (I'd always had it) because of the Joe Budden podcast.

Next thing, its drama, about Mal and Rory going on strike or quitting or taking time out. Here is the thing or the deal, I don't listen beause of his two side kicks, so frankly I don't care that Jamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell, aren't turning up to work.

Jamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell are mainly there to give a balanced view to Joe Budden's rants and sometimes passionate but 'different' opinions. Or what I think as Joe Budden unleashed. Jamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell are ordinary men to give Joe Budden - a fish out of water - balance.

They aren't irreplaceable however I can see its about friendship and I think at some point the business aspect of this arrangement should have been sorted out.

To be frank, and I'm probably speaking before the fact without knowing the detail but that's another thing that used to annoy me about Jamil 'Mal' Clay - him always saying they were friends having a chat, it wasn't professional. Plus his dress sense was like some teenager - it just got worse, I found his sense of style so distracting at times which was why I liked to listen to Spotify.

Jamil 'Mal' Clay, it was always professional, you were doing a job. Yes, the image and optics and lens was to present three men as friends but it was always a job and you and Rory Farrell should have thought of getting some show leverage before it came to this.

Rory Farrell also gave it another balance but before he fully matured - and I guess this is part of the problem, he is now a man - he used to behave like a man boy wanting to be a man.

I hope they sort out their issues on a personal level and behind the scenes, otherwise from a business point, it's no real loss to the Joe Budden podcast. Most of the time, Jamil 'Mal' Clay had ignorant comments which he presented as facts. Like he sounded intelligent but he was really just ignorant. Rory Farrell? I don't really care. This is just sauce or gossip. They could start up a rival podcast, and I might watch but I'm not going to stop watching the Joe Budden.

Both Jamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell, have gained but as Joe Budden said, they probably need to figure out what they want. More say, better work conditions etc, more pay - as in stakes. Whatever.

As for Joe Budden, I think he needs to think about his business interest and choices carefully. I think he needs a little more patience in terms of expanding but there is still only one Joe Budden, it was just the move to patreon irritated me. It looked like a desperate YouTube move. I thought Joe Budden was too big for that, kind of move. That may have damaged his brand somewhat.

Overall, I hope the three men Jamil 'Mal' Clay and Rory Farrell and Joe Budden resolve their issues. It's always challenging working with friends and family.

What is the worth of the Joe Budden Podcast

I deicided to cover this in a separate post.

The problem with worth especially monetary worth, it's highly dependant on what the buyer or investor thinks it's worth. So Joe Budden can have a figure what he thinks the Joe Budden podcast is worth and it will be up to the investors to make an independent valuation based on whatever metrics and decide if they are going to match it.

Saying that, Joe Budden's podcast is worth a lot. To Spotify it gave the platform a lead to a new demographic of podcast listeners, and once those listeners were part of Spotify, they started offering more.  So basically Joe Budden podcast was a lead in, and gateway, a bridge.

For example using myself as a casestudy, I followed the Joe Budden podcast from YouTube to Spotify  however once I arrived at Spotify, the platform started offering me different podcasts. The most recent would be the Michelle Obama Podcast.

Spotify would have the metrics on my listening preferences - as to which Joe Budden podcast, I listened, finished to and probably now what point I joined. Let's face it, at times Joe Budden does ramble on so I love the fact they cue their topics so I can dip in and out. So with these metrics plus my music listening trends, Spotify can decide what podcast they'll think I'm interested, and most of the time they get it right however there is only one messy  Joe Budden, so his format is difficult to emulate because let's face it when Mal and Rory and Parks are being cautious or measured  - Joe Budden doesn't care, leaves caution to the wind and goes unleashed, unfiltered.

So when things are happening in Hip Hop universe or some drama, I tend to check in with Joe Budden's opinions on the Joe Budden podcast because even if I don't agree with his rants or opinions - I know they are from the heart and what Joe Budden truly believes at the time. Joe Budden doesn't curate his opinion because even when Joe Budden does, he back tracks and lets us know what he's thinking. Joe Budden is as  honest as you can get on a podcast.

However back to Spotify, so I joined and after a while I took out a family subscription for an event. And as a result my family, with very different music tastes from me are now on Spotify. Only  Spotify will have that metric, because there was a time with Joe Budden was offering six months premium - I didn't qualify as I don't live in the USA. So you can imagine it's not just listening figures but a paying audience some would have decided to take up the offer for many reasons, and still paying. So not only did Spotify gain from listening figures and advert revenue, then also got more money and potentially other listeners (like my family) though the door.

Will Joe Budden podcast listeners follow Joe Budden to another platform?

Yes, however it may take time. To be honest, probably but given the allegations which have been categorically denied by Joe Budden on the Joe Budden podcast, I am feeling some kind of way. With the alleged canine abuse allegations - can't see the man in the same way.  Then again, ideally, probably a big yes since Joe Budden is honest and unfiltered on his podcast. There isn't a rant like the Joe Budden rant in the podcast world. Maybe Kanye West but that tends to be due to his alleged  on-going health problems and at times can be incoherent.

Joe Budden has categorically denied the inappropriate acts even then the fact it was levelled at him, is serious enough.

However ideally, I think when things have settled, his fanbase will follow him to the next platform - but they may not if they are tied in with Spotify - like how many platforms can a person listen to? So they may just stick with Spotify and listen to him on YouTube. Or they could follow and stop listening to Spotify, if they are mainly just Joe Budden fans.  Like they only listen to other podcasts because it's on the same platform. What the point of having two streaming platform app? And if he goes behind paywall streaming device? Who knows.

So hopefully, will settle and Joe Budden will be given his true worth for his Joe Budden podcast.

Take care and keep safe everyone

What next for Joe Budden after dissing Charlamagne Tha God: Opinion on the Joe Budden Podcast worth, and steps forwards.

After Joe Budden going on his rant about Charlamagne Tha God not being an owner and basically i-heart's bitch (my interpretation), and leading others to the modern day iheart podcast plantation (my (my interpretation), it seems Joe Budden is now running compilations of Joe Budden podcast on Youtube.

It has been a extremely poor state of affairs with lots of accusations going around regarding Joe Budden  from inappropriate acts with dogs (basically animal abuse or even bestiality) to toxic abusive relationships with former partners and wife-woman beating. Which Joe Budden has categorically denied, claiming there was a smear campaign against him. Which stands to reason because coming to the end  of Joe Budden where Joe Budden may be looking for new investors or business partners, the timing of these allegation were not the best. In fact, it would scare off most investors.

Let's be honest as a former rapper, the toxic abusive relationships and alleged wife-woman beating rumours have plagued Joe Budden for years, but investors aren't expecting a squeaky clean personality. Even investors will know of people who were alledged wife-woman beaters or people in toxic relationships.  Charlamagne Tha God has had his own allegations in the woodwork. And Hip Hop is rife with toxic abusive relationships towards both men and women, in fact the entire music industry. Could ad the human race. Unfortunately domestic violence is so common that once people (on both side) admit or do some damage control, investors will take a risk.

However unfortunately alleged acts of bestiality or alleged inappropriate  acts with animals is another thing. That is animal abuse, as they are vulnerable creatures that do not have a say, also you can't look at a man or a person the same way.  It's a very grave and serious allegation, and even though it's an allegation, it's hard see beyond that, whether people are taking it seriously or in humour, it's class joke.  Even in prison they have alleged unacceptable crimes and yeah.....so

Do investors want to be associated with a person where such allegations are swimming around the internet, or used as a butt of every joke. But can anyone sit at the table with such allegations and keep a straight face. 'Dog cookie for the partner?'

It has been over a week since the Joe Budden podcast last aired and a true winner of the 'lets make coins and get paid' war is emerging and it aint Joe Budden. To date Joe Budden  last tweet was promoting episode
Joe Budden

Joe Budden vs Charlamagne Tha God

At present in terms of the money situation, it seems Charlamagne Tha God is leading. Charlamagne Tha God  still is on the Breakfast club, still bringing home the bacon. Joe Budden is launching his own network according to his posts on Instagram. But technically anyone can have a podcast network on YouTube, no disrespect to Joe Budden. It's not that hard.

So I guess we need to watch the space especially with all the allegations Joe Budden and Charlamagne Tha God levelled at each other, plus other internet drama. Has it affected Joe Budden's brand? Time will tell.

These men are millionaires (supposedly but I'm not their accountant, so have proof of their income streams) but it's interesting they too have problems.

What next for Joe Budden and the Joe Budden Podcast.

Despite all the bravado of Joe Budden talking ownerships and throwing shade at Charlamagne Tha God, there has been no announcements so far about where the Joe Budden podcast will be. It seems his co-hosts need a cheque-check to continue. I would have thought that Rory, Mal and Joe Budden could continued on Youtube but it's contracts I guess. It's not that simple. There is also the behind the scenes people - the intern, camera person, sound etc. So I hope Joe Budden finds the worth for his Joe Budden podcast.

A lot is going on in the world at this time, people. so keep safe and take care of yourself and each other.

Megan the Stallion, Carl Crawford and the Hot Mess.....with Roc Nation in lurking in the shadows.

What a hot mess! A real fine hot mess in the age of Corona Virus lurking round. But let's not digress and get on it.

Megan the Stallion has been hot for a minute and now wants to renegotiate her contract on the back of alleged  advice from Roc Nation. And of course Roc Nation and her now manager T Farris  is keeping very quiet about this.

It is a mess for a number of reasons, first the music business in a cut throat industry where trust is rarity and people are taken advantage of. Also secondly we forget that Megan the Stallion is young and has recently been bereaved. So in bereavement, at time things aren't clear or the people don't act logically.

The Situation

My understanding is that Carl Crawford (former MBL superstar athlete) has a grassroots independent music table called 1501 Certified Entertainment. He discovered Megan the Stallion, threw a lot of money behind her and her talent, and now she's a 'star' with Roc Nation backing, she wants to renegotiate her contract. Her argument is that her contract is unfair however she's also making very serious allegations against 1501 Certified Entertainment which paints Carl Crawford in a very poor light. She allegedly signed a 360 contract - this means not only music was included, but merchandise, touring, music publishing, endorsements, appearances etc. It's also a four album deal, and she hasn't even done one.

HOWEVER we need to appreciate when she signed the deal, she had nothing, and a percentage of NOTHING is NOTHING. And typically, the contract was high but not so high it was extortionate by industry standard.

However she could have gone the independent route but again it was about investment.

Carl Crawford is understandably irrairated and annoyed about the whole thing because it's also his intregity brought in the question. More so when he invested money in Megan the Stallion, which she also acknowledges. Carl Crawford was the money bag. It's also painful when one is nurturing a star and it plays out like that - there are marketing costs, studio times, clothes etc.

What now?

The lawyers are now in on the act, so taking 1501 Certified Entertainment. Roc Nation are quietly watching the situation, but I need to point to Rita Ora vs Roc Nation, so Megan the Stallion needs understand that it's still business and she could be in this situation with any record label.

Megan the Stallion signed four album deal but if she had Rihannah's work ethic she would have completed at least two/three by now. The albums don't need to perfect. She probably wants major features, and to hit Billboards chart but in reality, she could have hit the studio recording.

What Next?

Megan the Stallion has been recent bereaved so she probably doesn't know who to trust, and she may not be emotionally in the right place, especially when her mother managed her. T Farris is not saying much nor is Roc Nation. We can only with all parties the best and hope it's resolved quickly.
