Why does social media provoke and poke Cardi B!Everyone is clout-chasing and on the hustle!

Why Do People Provoke and Poke Cardi B!

Yes, I'm a fan because she is funny, entertaining and likeable but she also talks a lot of sense. So lately there has been a lot of mess about her personal life, and it didn't help her partner/husband made a public show of wanting her back. Of course people will talk.

But what I don't get is the insane level of dislike some people have for her. I don't get it. At times, it's like a Cardi B bashing party. You get lots of bloggers and vbloggers who are back-handed saying that Cardi B should stay off social media YET, they report her every move to get hits and views. How does that work?

Then there are those who just pick fights on social media because with Cardi because they know it will give them clout. It is insane. The woman has just had a baby and is touring and on the road - so she's working very hard.

I guess Poking and Provoking Cardi B is part of her brand. But Please.

Everyone is clout-chasing and on the hustle!

Yes. And for that reason, I'm not really watching reality shows because they all have an agenda TO CHASE CLOUT. Okay I am too. I'm going to chase CLOUT and be on the HUSTLE and see where it gets me.,..

BUT I'M SHY...

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Joe Budden Podcast Episode 184 Highlights: Joe Budden says CyHI should shut up (I'm being polite here) , Sarky Rory gets salty about tape & walkmans, Joe Budden goes off on Digital Slavery, His Hip Hop Highness Mal the Jamal declares himself an announcer when orgasming. Ages are revealed.

Joe Budden sitting on the stars
Copyright Joe Budden website

In a top secret location known as only Parks living room, Joe Budden, Sarky Rory and His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal begin the podcast. And I listen in Sotifpy. However it will be uploaded on Youtube. Check out The Joe Budden TV. These are my highlights in no particular order. Note I only write what interests me so if you want full blow down of the show catch it on Youtube or Spotify.  I find it entertaining enough to blog about...at least for now.

1. Joe Budden dismisses CyHi's challenge $500k. Joe Budden ducks and dives, and says he has 19 albums while CyHi has one. So CyHi should stop dickriding and shut the fuck up. He also mentions in another unrelated matter than Hip Hop Highness, Mal The Jamal has one never released album and so does Sarky Rory. However what does  Mal the Jamal  and Sarky Rory actually do? Does anyone know? I know Parks is a sound engineer, Savon is the intern. Not sure about the rest of them. And well Joe Budden is Joe Budden.

2. Joe Budden has taken to talking about himself in the third person like Kanye West.

3. Sarky Rory gets salty when challenged about him using a tap (cassette) walkman when he was a kid. He argues that he was recording from the radio on tapes, and he had a tape deck. We learn that Rory is just a babe-in-the-woods at 28 years old.

4. Joe Budden refuses to talk about Kanye West, yet he talks about Kanye West.  I'm over the Kanye West analysis. I'm suffering from Kanye-West-Fatigue. It is wearing and tiresome. However I learnt we have another two months of his shengnnains...sorry I  met self promotion and marketing Deep thinking until he release his album. However if I wanted deep thinkers, I'd read some James Baldwin, Malcom X  and Luther King.

5. Sarky Rory and His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal and Joe Budden start to  talk about industry rumours - and minding other people's business.. I think it started about somebody suing with  a star. I didn't catch the same of the star so I'm not going there. Anyway they discuss they can't report everything that goes on in the industry, which is fair enough. Even Joe Budden reveals he has some discretion and choses what he talks about carefully. True.

6. Joe Budden, Sarky Rory and His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal all get into their feelings about technology, numbers and likes. It's starts off political but I'm not going into that. Joe Budden calls it Digital Slavery. Ya'll know I'm doing this for hits and likes...make no mistake. Not to digress Joe Budden reckon we are all now zoo and circles animals when all this. Note I'm paraphrasing and giving my own take.

7. Joe Budden accuses Mal the Jamal of being an announcer when orgasming during sex.  Okay we went technical here. Joe Budden starting making fun 'I'm coming', 'Yo Ma' etc. Joe Budden confesses to be an announcer but says it gets old with the same partner. Finally Mal the Jamal tired of being teased by Joe Budden declares that he does announce when coming or orgasming but refused to say share what he said.

8. The Invitation to 'Suck My Dick' movement is fighting words, says Sarky Rory though he was Serious Rory in this instance. Then His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal declared there was no reason for anyone to say that.  He doesn't play with the insult and it's what will get him into a fight. If you ever wanted a fight or a beatdown from His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal just utter those words to him - suck my dick. However if want to avoid a fight never tell His Hip Hop Highness Mal the Jamal to suck your dick. Ever. Nah, that is a beatdown. Mal the Jamal says there is no need to go there.  His His Hip Hop Highness has spoken. However he didn't say anything about female genital - like suck my pussy, so I'm not sure if that has the same result. But hey....

9. We learn His Hip Hop Highness, Mal the Jamal  is 49 years old. Wow, I was thinking about thirty-five definitely younger than motormouth Joe Budden who needs to mention his age at any given chance. We all know Joe Budden is 38. But Mal the Jamal 49....I nearly began with some old man, papa jokes until I realised my age too.  But then I thought at 49 why would be hang with anyone who can insult him. And could he really beat up anyone. I'm not saying 49 is old...well...it depends but having fight talk? Not sure.

10. Motormouth Joe Budden starts on some topic then puts in a side joke at Brandy Norwood and her licences. He is warned off by Mal the Jamal. Joe Budden. Interesting. If you don't get it, then you don't need to get it.

11. Joe Budden  declares he had beef with hooks. Really Joe Budden. Moving on from this boring point.

12 They start to discuss some unmemorable woman and get not to plastics surgery. Joe makes a point about the 'burnt out ' look and freddy krueger. He says both look beautiful. He also says he's not income some start of surgery. At first it was cool but now too common. Sarky Rory chimes in about the ageing process.

Catch you all later.

Joe Budden Podcast Digest - Episode 183 - Highlights - Does anyone get Sarky Rory's jokes or sarcasm? His Hip Hop Highness, Mal-The-Jamal reckons women give surprise Head in away of apologise. Joe Budden keeps up the Kanye West Conversation.

Joe Budden on the steps
Copyright Joe Budden website

I love the Joe Budden Podcast so I thought to do a series on the top things that come stand out for me. I'll do this until I get bored of the show. These are my clout chasing highlights in no particular order.

1.  His Hip Hop Highness , Mal-The-Jamal of Hip Hop Royalty, suggests that women don't apologies but give surprise head.

2.  Joe Budden had refused surprise head. He was driving, and feeling sleepy so had to refuse.

3.  No one on the show gets Sarky Rory's sarcasm - it goes over their head. Perhaps Sarky Rory needs to come down a level or two. Nobody seems to get his jokes...

4. Joe Budden had rap beef with a lot of rappers.

5. Mal-The-Jamal will fight robots while Joe Budden will fight pitbull terriers. Not if they pounce of his nuts, he won't.

6. Joe Budden has lost at some game and had to sit butt naked in a water foundation.

7.  Sarky Rory, Joe Budden and Mal-the-Jamal discuss Lil Wayne, Logic & Kanye West. They reckon Kanye went will come in last.

WILL LOVE AND HIP HOP NEW YORK DAMAGE JOE BUDDEN'S PROFILE AND CREDIBILITY? WILL IT DAMAGE JOE BUDDEN'S NEW BRAND? WHAT IS THE POINT OF DOING LOVE AND HIP AT THIS POINT

I'm back. Yeah. So let's talk about Joe Budden going back to Love & Hip Hop - New York? I don't understand why Joe Budden  is doing this?

Maybe he is now an executive producer? If not......

Joe Budden  is currently on a meteoritic rise. Hosting a podcast picked up by Spotify, and lead presenter on the Revolt TV State of the Culture show. Now he's going to air his business on Love & Hip Hop - New York. I don't get it.

If Joe Budden has a good PR agency and publicist behind him, he'll see his numbers and outreach are pretty good. He's even making the UK pages. But now going back to Love & Hip Hop - New York. I don't know, okay there is the money. Clout chasing? He has enough. Relevant? He already is.

Perhaps Joe Budden signed this new Love & Hip Hop - New York contract before everything took off. How can he be speaking about on his podcast about things and getting into some petty beef on the show.

PROS OF JOE BUDDEN ON LOVE & HIP HOP NEW YORK

  • He gets a bigger cheque/check this time
  • Its alleged he will have his own credit like Stevie J and Ray J
  • He will work with his wife Cyn Santana - so it will be cosy
  • Maybe he's an executive producer on the show so he can control his image.

CONS OF JOE BUDDEN ON LOVE & HIP HOP NEW YORK

  • You know how messy and devious these shows are so it may put Joe Budden and Cyn Santana under pressure.
  • If they haven't the show yet, Joe Budden may be time pressured with three big profiles show like this State of the Culture, and the podcast twice a week.
  • He will become the butt of more dis-records.
  • It encourages the rough and negative side of people
I love Joe Budden's podcast so it will be interesting to how this affects his presenting. He will be under contract however I just feel perhaps it wasn't the right move.  From the Revolt TV State of Culture and his podcast the next step should have been better. Bigger. Not back into a ratchet show - those are for has-beens. It's not even his own show. Oh well, at times we take what's on the table.

Will you be watching Joe on Love & Hip Hop?

Is Drake Fat? In my feelings.

Hey Day,

I was just watching Drake's In My Feelings and he looked like he had bingo wings. Flabby upper arms that hadn't seen the gym for weeks. Now Day, I'm not shaming but still. I guess Drake is a sexy pin. But maybe Drake sweating a pot belly under that basketball jersey.

Drake can't even dance. He's like a flimsy floppy rubber. Oh dear. Day, really? Money and fame.

Oh well.

Gotta go now.

Chapter One Extract

The transfer to the Forechester Fire Spurs was one of the best moves in Zak’s career, but he hated the team's informal induction and initiation process. Visiting strip joints on the main stretch wasn’t his thing, but team bonding was important.

Abel Gentleman’s Club was popping, for a quiet Wednesday night. It was a famed upscale establishment full of hustlers, rich ballers, and businessmen. Zak and five of his teammates were led to a private corner with a great view of the centre stage by a barely clad waitress whose fake breasts jiggled for attention.

"If you need anything, just let me know," she cooed as she seated them, her eyes firmly on Zak. Used to the female attention his looks attracted, Zak ignored her and sat.

One of his teammates, Wayne, whistled and pushed five hundred-dollar bills into her bra. She grinned and, sensing Zak was not interested, focused on Wayne. "Thanks, just let me know and...." She let the words hang and walked away, swishing her ass like mad. A few of her co-workers gave her envious looks.

It took all of Zak’s strength not to walk out. He hated strip clubs with a passion, but his sports agent had told him going to Fire Spurs was a fresh start and he needed to get along with his teammates. He had the reputation of being arrogant and keeping to himself off the court. But Zak viewed the game as a job. He was there to deliver on-court. Off-court was strictly his own business. However, he’d conceded this time, agreeing to follow his agent's advice and socialise.

Another waitress came up and whispered in his ear. "Do you want a private dance?"

He froze and wondered again whether this was a price he was willing to pay for team bonding. Didn't he turn up on time to training? He shook his head, but to not spoil the mood he pulled out his wallet and peeled out a thousand in hundreds and tucked the bills into the side of her thong. "Later," he told her. "I'm here to chill with my boys."

The men hooted when they saw him put the money in her thong and encouraged him to get a dance, but the stripper took a step back. After all, it was a thousand dollars for nothing, and she knew when a client was paying her to leave.

The music changed, and several spotlights focused on a small raised stage. Zak looked around and saw that everyone's eyes were focused there. He just hoped it wasn't a lewd nude show.

Paul leaned forward. "This is great stuff. This chick is...."

The PA system boomed out, cutting off Paul. "High rollers, ballers, gents, and the few ladies. A few things for tonight. Forechester's Fire Spurs are in the house! We hope the NBA playoffs are in the bag!" All attention focused in their direction, and people cheered and hooted.

Zak wanted to disappear and was about to slip out when another announcement was made.

"Now, for our star dancer. Model. Reality show superstar of 'Models, not Bitches.' Miss. Deanna. Jones."

Deanna Jones? That was impossible. He sank back into the chair again.

The applause was deafening, and bills were thrown at the stage, though Zak noticed they were mostly ones and fives. He took a breath, noticing his body was tensing up.

That name brought back memories that Zak wanted to forget. He’d never thought when he encountered her again it would be in a seedy strip joint, with all these men ogling her. An unfamiliar emotion stirred within him. He realised it was jealousy. And anger.

She strutted out on stage, dressed in a cheap red glittery mini dress with fussy straps. Her long legs accentuated in clear PVC sky-high platform heels.

Deanna still looked good. He wasn't sure whether he should watch her strip but realised she was performing a mixture of pole dancing and burlesque moves. She gyrated and twisted so much he wanted to rip off her the stage and hide her from the leering patrons.

A man made a grab for her, and Zak was about to jump out of his seat when security grabbed the offender and threw him out.

"You got it bad, huh," observed Wayne. "So have most of the cats in here. It's a pity this happens when these reality stars don't make plans for the future."

Zak stared at Paul. Was he that obvious? "Yeah, I guess she's doing a great job," he said smoothly, he hoped, though his heart was racing. She finished her dance to resounding applause, and he wondered why she was there.

She smiled and gave a bow, then gazed directly his way. Their eyes locked, and Zak saw a flash of vulnerability before she looked away. He was sure she’d recognised him.

He told his teammates he had to make a call, then rose and went outside. When a few fans asked for his autograph and to take photos with him, he obliged.

For the first time in a long time, Zak wasn't really sure what to do. Let the past remain the past, and forget he’d seen her? But Zak wasn't like that. Deanna Jones was a woman who owed him.

It was time to collect.

Zak could get into lots of places by being a popular NBA player, and when that failed, money talked. He slipped the bouncer a few hundred and then, at the bouncer’s requested, called the man’s father, who was a Forechester Fire Spurs superfan. Humbled by the old man's praise, he gave the bouncer a number to call for get free tickets to a game.

The hardened bouncer forced Zak to take back the tip. "That is priceless. Please, take it back. My old man always thought me a loser for doing this job and it's the first time I gave him something money can't buy."

Backstage was worse than the club. It smelled of stale sweat and perfume. The bouncer stopped outside the door labelled "Miss Deanna Jones" and rapped on it. "Miss Jones? Miss Jones, someone here to see you."

"Okay, just give me a second to get decent."

Her voice sent a thrill of excitement through Zak, and he wondered again whether doing this was the right thing.

The door swung open, revealing Deanna in her dressing gown. She looked apprehensive, which the bouncer noticed. "You okay, Miss Jones?"

Deanna nodded, slowly. Zak Lucas. She thought she'd recognised him but hadn’t been sure. It had been a very long time. The mood shifted.

"You want me to stay?" the bouncer asked, sensing there might be trouble. His job was to keep the girls safe, even from NBA superstars.

"Deanna?" Zak asked. "Do you have a minute?"

She nodded, opened her door wider, and stood aside. "It's okay, Twister, we know each other...."

"I'll stay outside, just in case," said the bouncer, staring at Zak with suspicion. "Holler if you need me."

"Really, Twister, go be at your station. Me and Mr Lucas have history and all that...." She let her words linger in the air. She could only imagine the gossip that would follow. But then, most of the girls in the club had rich ballers or rappers as boyfriends. Abel was an exclusive and classy gentleman's club.

The dressing room looked tiny with Zak inside. She pulled the door shut and stared at him. The rawness in his eyes made her tremble. It was still there. The passion. Her heart somersaulted, and she leaned against the door for support. "So, what can I do for you, Mr Lucas? " It came out a lot breathier than she’d wanted it to.

"Mr Lucas? I'm sure you can do better than that, Deanna."

It took all Zak had to stop from taking her into his arms and kissing her. The air was charged with electricity. Years had done nothing to dim the spark. He took a step closer to her. "You owe me."

She tilted her head up, then walked to her dressing table and sat looking in the mirror. Her eyes met the reflection of his eyes. "I...," she faltered on her words. "I don't know what you mean."

Zak looked with disdain at the messy room. The dressing table was covered with make-up cases. A broken chair leaned against the wall in the corner. Only half the lights around the mirror were lit. Compared with the clients' area, it was a dump.

"Eight years ago, you, eighty grand of my casino winnings, a platinum chain, and my Rolex disappeared from a Vegas hotel." He paused. "I figured it was a setup, probably by your pimp. Is he the one pimping you in this joint?"

Her head snapped up. That hurt her, cutting more deeply than she’d thought it would. It had been over eight years ago, and she’d had no idea that much was taken to save Jason, her brother. Jason had been kidnapped by a gang, who’d used her to get to Zak. Something told her there was no point denying it to him anymore. "I can pay back the money if you give me time."

Zak laughed. "Time? You have twenty-four hours before I call the cops." He pulled out a card. "And press charges."

"I can't afford that!"

Zak put his hand under her chin and leaned so close his breath scorched her skin. "Okay, I’ll be fair, because you probably don't make that in a night. So, one week. Call me, and then we’re even. Or else I'll get the cops involved."

Let's Talk About Kanye....It's All Going West...

Kanye West is forty, probably dying his hair and has grey pubs. No disrespect. Just saying it as it. He stares down and seen those curly grey hairs in his nether regions. He lives in a bubble full of yes men and women, a bit like the emperor who has no clothes.

Kanye West is born self publicist married to another born self publicist. Whenever Kanye West promoting an album he comes out with his rhetoric, to gain attention. The real danger is that he believes what he says so me. I'm watching. Waiting. Watching. Waiting. Because something is going to give. Something will snap.

This is unsustainable.

Don't care to debate his opinion because that will be disrespectful to even acknowledge them. Also the TMZ guy did a good job. But something is about to snap. Pop. There is a countdown and I just hope it turns out okay.

Because when celebs go down this route, it's always a slippery slope downwards.

The case of $95 million, Mel Tucker, Willy Bo-bo and inappropriate sexual conducts on the telephone.

Mel, Mel, Mel. It's tough. Mr Tucker. I discussed this case with someone and it's shame. It's a shame that it came to that. List...
