Growing Up Hip hop 4 - Embarrassing Parents - Pepa and Damon Dash - make an appearance. Boss Lady Angela has a non-date date with Romeo Miller. Uncle Russell keeps it open and real

Nothing really happens in this show however it's good, clean TV for young adults and teenagers. Non ratchetness as of yet.

Angela finds out the reason why Christina DeBarge didn't turn up - her father. So all is forgiven and Angela turns on her nice self and becomes supportive.

Then they go to the concert where Angela's father is performing and TJ is honouring his father. That goes well and we see Angela's real self emerge as the Boss Lady. Yeah, she is so bossy and in charge with a loud loud loud voice. Almost shouting.

They talk about TJ's father and Christina DeBarge realises at least her father is alive....

Boogie and his father Damon'don't wear a condom' Dash

Boogie Dash is such a sweet kid. Very sweet, mild mannered and polite. A different kind of Dash, from his father Damon and his auntie Stacy.

We learn that Damon Dash is in yet another child support/maintenance/custody situation with another baby mother. Poor Dash babies. I like Damon Dash but he needs to grow up. Oh and his cousin Stacy. Anyway he asks Boogie to step in and help out with his childcare problems. Good son Boogie does it.

Boss Lady Angela's Stalker issues again.

So we go to yet another Stalker expert who tells Boss Lady Angela that she needs to deal with this immediately. Angela gets the cops in again and they say a whole lot of stuff which Angela doesn't want to deal with.

Pretty boy Romeo on a break with girl friend

Pretty boy Romeo - doesn't do much. He comes back to the US and putting pleasure before work, hangs out with his friends.

We learn Romeo is on a break from his relationship...oh dear....Boss Lady Angela doesn't mind that Romeo is single and puts her ass up in the air - in a yoga pose - to punctuate her point. Someone seems to be very happy about this break.

Embarrassing Mother Syndrome - Pepa

Pepa crashes a photoshoot with lil Pepa Treach and  steals the show by being a bossy monager and telling us how long she's being in the business. Poor lil Pepa Treach (yes, I still don't know her name).

Boss Lady Angela prepares for her non-date date with Romeo

Boss lady Angela, her PA Johann  and Vanessa Lighy have a girly session  choosing clothes for Angela's non-date date with hanging out with Romeo. So much effort for a non date.

Vanessa keeps telling  Boss Lady Angela doing what the police said. Angela as always can't be bothered.

Romeo and Boss Lady Angela have a non-date date

Despite the amount of time Queen Bee Angela took in chosing her outfits for this non-date date, I can't see it. She wear her Loubs to the beach to Pretty boy Romeo is like are you going to wear high heels on the sand. So she takes them off. They start to flirt with each other and she tried to take a peek of his speedos...oh dear.

Angela and Uncle Russell Simmons

She meets her uncle Russell. They talk about relationships and Romeo. Uncle Russell is pretty open about this. It's so hilarious! Then he reads her the riot act about dealing with the stalker.

Good line from Uncle Simmons - You can never fail until you quit

After that they say goodbye and Angela does some kind of walk out of the room to which we get the classic line from  Uncle Russ- 'Jesus, Angela, it's not a runway... just walk out of the door - who walks like that?'

Angela does, that's who.

Master P and Romeo

Master P summons Romeo to his office and holds conference. Big Daddy Master P is puffing on his cigar and leaning back in is chair, telling Romeo of his expectations. Can Romeo reach that high? Who knows?

Stevie J & Joseline Go Hollywood Episode 1

My favorite reality show star - Joseline is back but I'm not sure if this show has anything to it. It is based around the premise of Stevie J producing a movie with starring him and Joseline. And to be frank apart from Joseline's one liners and bad ratchet behaviour there isn't much to it. She would make a great stand up comedian.

Anyway in this spin off from Love and Hip Hop ATL, Stevie J via VH1 now has enough money to produce a movie where he and his wife Joseline will act in. Also he'll produced the sound track/music score as well as cast.

Well things don't go to plan when Stevie J hops on a plane to LA leaving Joseline behind. Joseline doesn't take much rubbish off anyone follows quickly behind him, where she meets up with K Michelle, and enrols for some acting classes.

At some point Stevie J finds out that Joseline is in town, so invites her to some pool party with lots of pretty women. Joseline goes and being jealousy in nature insults everyone there and pushes Stevie J in the pool.

After that the movie team tell Stevie J that Joseline would have to audition for the part - a smaller part in the movie. Not sure how that will go down.

Over all we have a few famous faces, like Puff Daddy/ P Diddy making an appearance. The storyline is a bit thin but this will be very scripted. This show will evolve round Stevie's family since they all make an appearance, even Mimi and Eva.

Too soon to form an opinion but it seems okayish for now.

Growing Up Hip Hop Episode 3 - The Young, Dumb and Privileged go to Miami. Drama Queen Angela still rants about her stalker, DeBarge desperate tittie black dress doesn't pay off, Boogie and Romeo are still cute and fine, and Baby Peppa can't sing.

The show kicks off with Angela asking Romeo if he send a cheap bunch of flowers.  Sorry dudes, a huge part of this is scripted and planned especally with this stalker story line, but at least Romeo has good sense in EPISODE THREE TO SAY TO THE POLICE.

Romeo's girl has the 'can't-believe-this-BS' expression on her face. Dumb Angela then puts on some round shades and says she's in disguise, really? Please  this is insults our intelligence but kinda fun too.

Debarge Girl

Not sure of her name but it's still some made up drama. She is the only one who is really on a hustle. So she isn't part of the young, dumb and privilege group. She is really desperate to make it. Maybe too desperate.

Can't she just ring the jail to find out where he was release to? He must have a probation officer or something. Normally they give them like a half-way house and all that jazz.

Any way, Debarge chick is now going down skits city to look for her father. She gets advice from a specialist about reconnecting with family. She starts whining that she doesn't know if her father is dead or alive. This is the woman - yes - woman who didn't visit her father for four years in jail and seemingly because of a show is all interested to get proactive.

Anyway she gets over looking for her father really quickly when she talks to her producer. He is some dude in a shady looking studio who tells her he's got a meeting with Cash Money in Miami. That meeting is important enough to pause the 'looking for Daddy' search.

Zoom forward to the meeting, she goes to meet Cash Money with her tits hanging out of her dress. She is just tittie galore in that dress. One wrong move and there will be a huge warobe malfuntion with her breasts spilling out.

The Cash money guy comes in. Is he looking at her face or her tits? I don't know.  And then plays her demo while she singing and stroking her body. Are we in a strip joint or what? I don't know. Cash Money man is just looking at her body....

Don't get me wrong DeBarge is a good singer but she is one of many pedalling the same old stuff.
There are lots of girls who have what she had and even better.  The producer tells her in a nice way but basically she gets rejected. That tittie revealing black dress didn't work - just too desperate. Nor did all the stroking of her body.

Maybe if she'd dressed professionally, and gone in with a business mind the man would have thought  she had something different. He would have thought maybe she had a different angle to her R&B, even maybe stretched to rock because dressed professionally or in a suit he may have asked her to sing. But nope, she just went in like a girl dressed for the club with a demo to sell.

Presentation is everything. Rule don't go to a meeting with a producer with your tits hanging out of your dress. Keep it professional.

Romeo

He's cute. Fine looking boy but still dumb. To take over No Limits he should be cracking on with business school and learning how to balance a budget and leadership skills not just doing reality show. Oh and calling daddy for all decisions.

We get some cute scenes of him on the European movie set. He's looking really cute again. I guess that's why he got the part.

Drama Queen Angela

She finally call the cops. Is this a waste of police time? Or some kind of PR on the part of the NYPD to show a different friendly face to the public. I don't know. Just don't know. Oh please. This should have been the first thing she did. However the officers just  give some general safety advise so I reckon its like a public awareness exercise. Lets face it, if it was serious they would have asked for the video and the bear etc. So this was just to raise awareness for kids talking too much of private business on social media.

Anyway Angela Simmons keeps going on about this stalker likes its a fashion accessory. Everything is her stalker this and her stalker that. Even Dash gets in on the action to protect her from this stalker - OG style. I thought Damon Dash would be too busy rebuilding his music empire instead of being disrespected by Angela Simmons.

She facetimes Romeo, who is still looking fine just out of bed, just to talk rubbish. Angela just thinks on her feet. She blurts her business out and doesn't like it when people think it's rubbish.

Angela is rude to the Debarge girl, and plain disrespectful but she is queen bee of the show.

Lil Baby Peppa

She's cute but also dumb. Another young, dumb and privileged kid. Not sure she can sing though, however all she needs is the right cuteness - which she has. To be fair she should have been doing this since she was a kid. Kinda mind up. Nope, still cute but can't hold a tune. Need to fast forward.

At some point Momma Peppa gets kicks out of the studio but it still doesn't improve Baby Peppa's singing.

Lil Peppa gets annoyed with her mother and  goes crying to Daddy Peppa who puts her right. Momma Peppa is an OG, and what she says is law. Lil Peppa isn't happy. Oh dear.

TJ

Cute as well but likes his food. Very cute. They are all good looking in this show but still the dumbness still goes on. He goes to the Miami to DJ some big show. He's talking about tarnishing his image and name because of missing needles. The idiot then says he hasn't practised for this all important show in a week. Dumb.

Drama Queen Angela vs the Debarge Girl

They all clash in Miami, where Angela becomes Queen Bee and blanks Debarge.

The filming crew let DeBarge girl into Angela's appartment to give her side. Angela and her PA tell DeBarge that she's unprofessional. Well they do have a point because Debarge could have called them sooner to say she would miss the show. Was this just to make up beef for the cameras? Maybe.

 Fathers Therapy Session
The show gives a little session with DeBarge, Boogie and Chris Lighty's daughter talking about their fathers. Poor Boogie's daddy was murdered and he found out in the media (horrible, just plain horrible), while the Chris Lighty's daughter says her father was an alleged suicide (another horrible situation that messes up the family). Not nice and tragic for this kids. Anyway Debarge girl finds out that her problem isn't so bad of looking for her missing dad isn't so bad.

I guess that covers this show.

Note

Apparently Angela Simmons is an executive producer on this show, so maybe that gives her the right to be rude and disrespectful. Who know?

Growing up with Hip Hop episode 2 - The Young, Rich and Dumb. Stalker drama with Drama queen Angela Simmons stressing, Romeo asking Daddy Master P to make decisons.

I reckon the stalker is fake.

Let's break this down. How would the woman have gotten into the club dressed like that? Please. I bet she was a hired actress for the show to put this stalker business on. Also why not report her to the police? How do they know she sent the teddy bear. Please. Fake. Phony. At least I hope the stalker actress got paid well.

Angela is pretty dumb about this stalker business. So she goes to check her condo block security. Yeah, they see someone on viedo.  Well they could have taken the video to the police but that seems too easy. No, I reckon it's an actor because they just happen to catch him on camera when he tries to catch the show.

At least two actors got paid to play her stalker.

Then she gets some cheap flowers delivered to her gym and thinks they are from Romeo. Like Romeo would get some cheap gas station flowers. Oh dear, this story line is going to roll and be very long. Yawn. /The better figure out some real drama.

Romeo, Drama Queen Angela and Romeo's girl friend Toneata Morgan .

Well Angela wants him. Then again he is cute. But she really really likes him, and wants to get down and dirty. Oh well love triangle. Angela's claws come out with Romeo's girl Toneata who kinda has a name that fits into the genre. I like Toneata Morgan, I think she's cute and unassuming. As for Angela, well she's coming over a tad petty with all fake Romeo drama.

Toneata has some cute pictures of Romeo and herself on her instagram, whatever happens I hope she gets something good out of the show.

Romeo

Romeo is still doing music now, and there was a scene where  Romeo and his boys were casting for his video. Foolishness. Pure foolishness going on.

A bit seems a bit of perv session for the boys. I expected a bit of professionalism for the set. Where is the director? I don't get this. Is Master P sure about his boy taking over his empire? Maybe Romeo needs to get his head into an MBA. Also when Romeo gets a call about an offer for a movie he goes running to his Daddy Master P to make decisions for him.

Like he wanted his daddy to tell him to pass on a movie. Don't know about these kids.  At times, they are young, rich and dumb.

He also needs to brush up on his geography. How do these kids end up so dumb?

Debarge girl and her father business.

Not really interesting. Apparently her father is still a junkie. She goes to find her father, I'm not sure if she's in LA or New York. Anyway she cancels Angela's show. Then again I'm sure Angela can get another person to replace the DeBarge girl.

Pepa's daughter.

She's pretty with an nice innocence about her. However she doesn't have the attitude to deliver the old school Salt & Pepa rap tracks. She's a bit of light weight.

Boogie Dash.

Just cute and nice however  nothing more.

Growing Up Hip Hop episode 1

Growing Up Hip Hop is about the first generation of the Hip Hop mogul's children and how they want to make it out on their own. It's a good clean young adult show with no cussing, no bad behaviour and everyone is potentially a respectable role model.

A good introduction to the cast. Romeo is a nice guy and son of Master P who wants him to take over the record business. Somehow I don't think, he  probably said it for the purposes of this show.

Angela Simmons is running her own fashion line and seems a drama queen. She and Romeo also have a little chemistry going on. Though Romeo did tell a friend who I think is her cousin they need to fix her up so she doesn't end up a 40 year old virgin.

There is another girl who is DeBarge's daughter. She didn't grow up as rich as the others but still has been given a hook in this show. She is more a daughter of soul. And the last one is Damon Dash's kid who is pretty cool and level headed.

Overall the show was about some fake package that Angela got, and makes her thinks she has a stalker. If it were real she'd had reported it to the police. However the show is pretty boring and needs a bit of drama. These kids are also well groomed and very privileged so aren't the normal hoodrats who'd fight over the simplest things.

I'm also not sure if Romeo's girl friend is real or for the purposes of the show.
