R&B Divas Season 2: Reunion Part 1 - Nicci Dresses in White, Angie Stone had Clipboard, Syleena talks DVD contracts

Knowing the messy nature of the show Faith Evans decided it was in her best interest to skip the reunion and take a vacation - I don't blame her. Her excuse was spending time with in New York with her family. OK, Faith Evans we feel you. Probably the real reason is you care about your brand and image and don't  want to be associated with such negativity.

Nicci Glibert looked like a missing fairy off a Christmas tree. Yes, big girls can wear white but hers had too much detail and her pants were tight round her crotch so it was very near a camel toe.

Keke was wearing white as well but a simpler design which came over elegant. But as I said Nicci Gilbert looked like something off a Christmas cake or tree.

The tension was so tight you could smash it with a hammer and still have some. The women did not want to be there.

Syleena Johnson was so tense that her face was stone bone cold. She must get some kinda headache from tensing up so much. And she betrayed her nervousness by shaking her leg and foot. You know when people are nervous or angry or both the tend to release by shaking a part of their body. With Syleena Johnson it's her foot and leg.

Nicci Gilbert just looked angry and sulky. And the rest seemed to be passengers on the show.

The Problem

The main problem seems that Nicci Gilbert had a concept for a show and reached out to Faith Evans in order to get it picked up by a TV station. Faith Evans who is well connected came on board as an executive producer adn subsequently it was picked up. It was Nicci's vision for the show to be an engine-vichle for the women to go a tour.

So we understand Nicci Gilbert's concept. Season one is the preparation with singing at Essences Festival and season two is that we the women go on tour.

However in real life that doesn't get ratings. The show was too boring and needed a bit of heating up.  So it seems there was some behind the scenes action and conflict - new executive producers added - it's now about six instead of the original two Faith and Nicci.

So it's pretty much a divide and conquer situation with all these women who are desperate for attention. It's so easy - they tell Syleena and her management one thing, Angie's management another etc. The build upon conflict behind the show. All the women are used as pawns against each other. Syleena Johnson is slightly immature in that she doesn't think before she speaks. She uses heavy words - she goes biblical and bible talk with words like hell, devil, evil, hate - just like she is doing some revivial stuff.  That is more damaging than saying bitch, muthafucka, hoe because it's real and most of us were bought up in church.

So maybe they probaly told Syleena she was the breakout star and they would give her more screentime then decided to edit it to make Nicci Gilbert look the bad person.  And Syleena is so inflammable that it takes very little to make her angry - she's a bit like Evelyn Lozada but without Evelyn's loyalty.

Angie Stone

When an adult woman has to keep on reminding us that she is grown it probably shows she is reminding herself that she is grown.  Too many times Angie Stone had come out with her high and mighty ways.  Angie had been more of an instigator then she probably knows in the show.  And the high of immaturity was bringing on a clip board to write her swearwords on. Who does that?  She contradicts herself by not cussing and cussing at the same time. I'm confused.

There is Angie Stone the singer image and there is another side of her she revealed on this show which isn't too flattering.

So Nicci took offend at Angie's 'first class and coach class' mentality comment and I understand her comment about Angie taking a ride on her plane. A bit like the Stevie J bus to fame. Angie got annoyed and said Nicci keeps flinging that she is Executive Producer on the show. But Nicci has a point. Angie came on the show for exposure because it reaches a different audience. I highly doubt she was approached I think her manager would have hustled for the role.

Also when Angie got the place on the show, the wizard or powers behind the show knew Angie's real character and that she would cause conflict. Common people you know if you Grandmother is trouble maker, gossip etc. Just because one is older doesn't mean anything. Angie is Angie - bossy, opinionated and thinks highly of herself - only she does not move record units in itunes.

So all Nicci was pointing out was how dare she comes on a show and say the other women - some who'd had bigger careers than Angie had a second class mentality. It was disrespectful.

Keke Wyatt

She applogised to Angie Stone for behaving like a bratt only because her mother told her too. Probably getting folk coming up in the gorcey store telling her now disrespectful Keke was by calling Angie an 'old ass bitch' which was uncalled for.  Then again Keke is probably the most honest of all the women.

She took the Entertainment Tonight joke about stabbing her husband well - in the end it was exposure - and Keke makes good TV.

Monifah

Not much to be said that wasn't on screen. Getting married to Terez in a marriage her daughter Akemi opposes and there was also her substance abuse. To be fair Monifah is doesn't really say or do much in terms of drama. Monifah tends to keep out of messiness unlike the others. So there isn't anything to say about her.

Some fun. Could Terez stand for Teresa? Is Terez really a southern belle from Chattanooga, Tennessee? Has anyone noticed how Terez does not mess with her makeup foundation and blusher? Even the morning scenes where Monifah is barefaced Terez is fully made-for the camera. Finally what extactly does Terez do?

Syleena Johnson and Nicci Glibert

Despite all the drama this show as Nicck Gilbert said had helped everyone in their carreers and I think Syleena had probably gained the most. I think the problem with Syleena is her mouth. She is so quick to jump into conflict and drama with her mouth.

She has a lot of supporters on blogs and Internet but to be that hot-headed and opinionated in real life means you lose out. And Syleena probably has lost out along the way till this show.  So she is the star of this show but all it shows other executive producers is that she basically had no loyalty to those who originally gave her the platform.

Her dealings with Nicci Gilbert became very messy and I think it's probably due to jealousy on Nicci's part because Syleena's part became a lot bigger this season.  Also Syleena's ego grew and her sister got involved and there were no clear lines of communications.

Also it's true that Nicci did reach out to Syleena with the promoter last season which Syleena disrespected on the at her show case.  You remember the who mic situation. At one point Syleena was an up and coming star who went to zero and I think it has more to do with attitude than her talent.

The fitness DVD could have easily being resolved behind the scenes instead of making it into a 'hate Nicci Gilbert' campaign story line. And I think watching back Syleena probably sees she might have gone too far. So the whole show has been about this DVD and non-tour with Nicci being painted as fraudulent.

In the end Nicci who reached out the all these women and bought them on a show otherwise Syleena will be singing clubs as a has-been, Keke doing church vocals - cause she stabbed her husband and Monifah just hanging about trying to get back on the music scene.

And whatever it is Syleena and her management needs to acknowledge and respect that because they have used the show to expand Syleena brand.  I can appreciate Angie Stone and Latocha not doing it since they were bought in by others.

 Latocha

It's never her fault - a bit like Scrappy in Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. The thing with Latocha from Xscape is that while she is talking sisterhood and friendships - she is constantly indirectly casting shade on the other ex-members of Xscape on the Kandi Buress and Tiny Cottle Harris.

A lot of internal conflict happened in Xscape some of which was allegedly caused by LaTocha which lead to the band splitting up.  The others have moved on. Latocha needs to move on too or maybe she wants to bring that messiness to R&B Divas.

Love And Hip Hop Atlanta Season 2 Episode 10: WTF - Nikko takes White Wedding? Nikko wants Karlie? Threesome with Nikko, Mimi and Karlie Redd? Is Mimi back on the Stevie J bus?

Karlie Redd meets with Mimi to tell her Nikko is trying to get his leg over her. Yes, he is trying to hit it and get low and dirty with Karlie Redd.

Mimi isn't impressed but it get worse because loser Stevie J wannabe told Karlie that Mimi was still on the Stevie J bus. So Mimi fumes about being called a liar, deranged and damaged goods. Anyway I think Nikko sorry-ass was too poor for messy Karlie.

Mimi then storms in into Nikko's house. The guy is a waste of Love and Hip Hop space. He looks too damn poor! Maybe he belongs on some refuge camp in Africa IO aint buying he's had the money. He has a desparate look about him.

Anyway Mimi slings insults and Nikko is like you are supposed to be my woman and you had a WHITE WEDDING. I'm like WTF White Wedding? So Nikko explains - the White BMW, Mimi dressed in white then Stevie J rolls up decked up in white too! I'm cracking up with laughter! Anyway Mimi starts to abuse him and it rolls off poor-man Nikko. He's like you are deranged, you are damaged and you are playing me for rebound.

Mimi storms out but the Nikko shouts - Him, Karlie Redd and Mimi - can have a threesome. Mimi storms up to him and starts to rant. All she does is push up her face in his and calls him a loser, clown, bitch etc. Nikko takes it.

Nikko eats shit and swallows deep. To be fair to him he should have just walked away becuase it could have got out of hand. I'm thinking is Mimi on Liquid Power again?

Anyway Mimi comes away saying she's being through the trenches with Nikko - I guess a few fellatio and sexual encounters plus an appearance in a wack video count as going through the trenches with a man. Whatever.

Ariane trys to bring Mimi and K Michelle together at church but it anit happening.

Especally when Mimi is eating crow and humble pie with the Nikko situation.

Joseline and Stevie J make up again. I swear it's because both miss the booty call.  Anyway it seems Joseline's career had being downgraded from international stardom to looking for a broke-ass independant label like Rasheeda.

Well, the stardom dream seems to be  over but not the sex for those two. Stevie J is like Mimi is hard work but Joseline is putty in his hand. Stevie is a jerk and even when we forget we get reminded about it.

Scrappy starts to behave like a moron again. Gets in trouble wiht his probation officer and calls Erica up. This is why Erica gets fed-up - in real trouble Scrappy calls her otherwise in time of happiness it's his sideline hoes & bitches. I agree with Erica on this on. Momma Dees give Erica the side eye and asks why she is there? Moron Scrappy is like he needs her support. What about Shay, you dim-witt?

Where was Shay Bucky when all this police problem was going down. Anyway all I get is that it's never Scrappy's fault. He needs to take some responsibletiy for his actions.

Did anyone notice Erica rubbing Scrappy on his forearm to comfort him - are those two on again? That is more than a gesture - it's was a rather intimate signal of concern and don't say it's her babydaddy.

Traci goes out with another track-record cheater who gives excuses for cheating. Whatever. The guy turns up in a cheesy horse drawn carriage. Romantic - maybe what happened to a nice dinner?

Rasheeda and Kirk are still acting like Bitches in a Pod. I have no time for their drama. It's really not that interesting even though Kirk is just crazy! But Rasheeda too has her own craziness.

Kirk goes around threatening to take her off the bank account - whatever - the only thing he can do is clear it unless Rasheeda clears it first.  It's a mess. These two argue like they are in their house.  Even her manager tells her she needs to be more professional.

And for some reason Rasheeda compares her pregnancy to Beyonce to the new manager and the new manager shakes her head and tells her not to even go there.

Mimi, Stevie J and baby Eva play happy familes by go out to the park - for some quality family time.

Stevie J notices the alleged fake rolex is gone and asks Mimi about it. Mimi confirms she has returned it. You can just see Stevie J rubbing his hands in glee thinking of next step back into Mimi's bed.

It ends with a Erica and Shay Buck coming to blows at some party  Traci is involved in. I'm not too sure how it started but why does Traci think Erica can talk to Bucky Shay without some drama. Traci can't even see Drew's women without making a huge fuss and spiting out microwave bitches and hoes. Why should Erica or Shay Bucky be any different. Anyway Shay Bucky gets chucked of the event for behaving like a hootrat.

To be fair Erica was fairly dignified about the whole thing but Bucky Shay was in hoodrat form. It went a bit crazy and I didn't really understand the whole reason bucause after all Buck Shay wasn't at the lawyer's office it was Erica.

So that's it...

R&B Divas Season 2 Episode 8: Yet still more bitching about Nicci Glibert with a zero tour. And Nicci Tells Syleena she works for her

It's official, R&B Divas has crossed over to Rachet Reality TV. All season it's being about the Let's Bitch About Nicci Gilbert Show with the exception of Keke Wyatt, Monifah Carter and Faith Evans but the others were just about bitching bitching and more bitching about Nicci.

The so called finale was such a Downer that I was struggling with how to write about it because frankly it was hard watching it and I find it harder even watching it. It was an anti-climax.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is honest. The people there are honest about their lives but truth about R&B Divas is it's about a bunch of failed, has-been singers looking for second break. However the way they conducted themselves on show pretty much points to why they failed in the first place.

I'm happy that at least Keke got her career back on track and so did Monifah.

It starts off when Slyeena giving a listening session for her new music - which sounds very much like everything out there. Happens when you work with the same team. Latoacha starts dancing and giving the speech 'it's the best music ever' - yes but you were in a failed girl group where half of the other members don't even acknowledge you exist.

Anyway I'm thinking it's Slyeena's night, right? Why not enjoy it and have a bit of fun.  I expected Syleena to say 'Angie, this is my night for my music and I don't want to talk about Nicci there.' But there is nothing more Syleena loves than bitching about Nicci and calling Nicci fraudulent.

Oh no, that's too simple for these bunch of childish, catty women. Angie Stone suddenly mentions the magic words 'Nicci Gilbert'.  I'm like oh no, Angie, please not another let's bitch about Nicci Gilbert session. But oh, yes.

It's slowly decsends into a Nicci Bitchfest. Nicci did this and Nicci did that. Boring - it's the same shit these heifers are talking about.

Monifah and Keke come to Nicci's defense because let's face it these girls know a few things about loyalty and the fact the concept was Nicci's idea. But Angie, Latocha and Syleena aren't having it they just continue to bitch about Nicci.

Then I see why Syleena is treading water in her career dispute having a lot of albums. She's bitchy with a nasty mouth on her. And it's not even talented funny stuff like K Michelle's insults - Syleena is just plain nasty.

There is a reason why most failed first time around- Monifah had a drink and drug problem, Keke stabbed her ex-husband in self defence but I think Syleena, Angie Stone and Latocha just have bad horrible attitude.  Angie Stone is famous but not like she should be. Nicci we know is just plain stubborn and doesn't listen to anyone.

Monifah and Keke

Monifah decides the best way to deal with this is ask Nicci over for a  meeting. She also invites Keke and Micheal.  Nicci arrives and she is on the war path. She is very angry and it's probably one of the most uncomfortable things I've watched on TV. Especially when Angie wasn't there to defend herself.

Monifah tries to get a word in but no Nicci just continues to erupt about Angie Stone's behavour. Even Keke comments on how uncomfortable it all was. Anyway things calm down and Nicci explains the situation about her charity and Monifah and Keke agree to help Nicci out.

Now thinking of it Angie should have spoken to Nicci first regarding the status of the charity instead of bitching to the others and having a confrontation.  But then again...

Monifah and Terez

Monifah asks Terez about moving to Atlanta - but Terez refuses saying she can't move down south. Awww...then Terez proposes - and even a hard faced cynic like myself is touched.

Terez will come as a partner not a girl friend and Monifah starts to cry. Nice rock, Terez. Sweet...

This was probably one of the most 'positive' moments in the show where Terez finally agrees to go live in Atlanta after proposing to Monifah.

However it has a bittersweet ending as Akemi declaring to her mother that homosexuality is a perversion. Akemi seems to have forgotten to bring the is the cross, bible and holy water to cast out the .....

Monifah handles it well and says maybe with age Akemi will see things differently - I don't know - doesn't intolerance grow with age?

Anyway in a roundabout way Akemi accepts her mother Monifah is happy and in a good place however it conflicts with her religionous beliefs.

Fair enough she's entitled her to opinion and at least she is honest about it. Probably Akemi's whole church was watching this so she needed to state her position. Her mother Monifah doesn't seem to bothered about it after all Akemi is still there, isn't she?

Nicci's event happens but we all know Nicci is more passionable about fashion and doing fashion shows than music. There are lots of technical difficulties - the mic wasn't working etc.

Keke threw a diva tantrum and Monifah decided she wasn't going to sing.

Brownstone came on and were terrible but I think it's one of those small events where it didn't really matter. As usually Keke sang very well dispute the poor equipment with her twin brother giving a great performance.

Then all the women gather to celebrate Keke's birthday.  It just descends into chaos.  Keke has a go at Angie for saying things about Nicci's Event's and intesnion. Angie feels disrepected and keeps on saying she is a lady. Well if you are you probably wouldn't have to say it all the time. Anyway for some reason Latocha gets involves and starts to argue with Keke for no real reason.  At that point I can see why working with Latocha in Xscape was a problem.

Latocha made it messy. Keke was telling Angie Stone not to go then Latocha butted in saying the same thing in a different way - basically she wanted to her what Angie Stone had to say.

Anyway Nicci gets involves as well and Angie walks off. Then Syleena started insulting Nicci. It was so bad - her words and behavour - which I'm not going to repeat. Syleena has being very frustrated this season with Nicci and it all spilled out but she is only 36 years old. She should be hanging more with Keke than trying to deal with Nicci who is a lot older than her.

Syleena has a lot of fans out there on blogsphere but they are not buying her music. She is only 36 years old, I thought she was about 40 the way she was carrying on with her manager-sister being younger.

It really became silly with Syleena going all biblical on Nicci. For me I'd rather someone cussed with profanity than start going all bible verses.  Slyeena doesn't seem to think before she says anything. For example you can call someone a 'fucking bitch or ho' than saying 'baboon or man with a wig'.

And Nicci didn't really say much other than this is too much drama and Slyeena was angry. However Nicci did tell Slyeena she worked for her - so that was adding gas to a fire. Syleena went crazy with the insults. However why can't Slyeena also see she's part of the problem. It's Slyeena and Nicci's issues that have caused tension both are responsible for this in a way.

And it's true because a few years ago Syleena had a record deal with Jive Records and was singing hooks on Kanye West's record. A few years later she is looking ten years older than her actual age and has not reached her so called 'true potential' of her early days.

I think it's possibly the wrong format show for Syleena because she is still seeking an older crowd for her music. She would have made better progress on something like Love & Hip Hop but with her mouth she would have gotten into a few physical fights. Whatever it is Nicci Gilbert and rest don't go physical.

Also Syleena's insults and abuses aren't as creatively like K Michelle so Syleena comes over vindictive and nasty. With K Michelle's insults and abuses - I'm shaking my head but also laughing at the same time. I feel quite bad because I can appreciate her way with words but Syleena's abuses and insults are just ugly.

Latocha tend walks out - whatever. The fact Latocha was new to the group and always casting indirectly shade on her ex Xscape members - Kandi Buress and Tiny Harris (Tiny has always maintained a diginfied silence on the matter to my knowledge)  and Latocha then talking about Nicci behind her back. Remember she is new - just makes me thinks she's a bit two-faced. Then that whole unnecessary argument with Keke in final scene - I can see why the others walked out on her. Unfortunately she doesn't see how she comes over. In fact none of them too.

Angie Stone is the same. Being older doesn't make you wiser. It's a hard one with Angie because everything was in front of the camera - appointing herself leader, being bossy, trying to mother some grown career women - it wasn't going down well. The the ugly camera angles in the confessionals were just distracting.

Anyway it ends on an anti-climax with no tour, no friendships and tattered relationships. I'm not sure what Angie Stone got out of it other than the camera man giving her wrong frame so her nostrils looked liked two tunnels.

As for Nicci Gilbert, well we know Nicci is bossy, pushy and stubborn. She also loves being centre of  attention.  However she also creative and full of ideas about things. She got the concept together, a few people involved including Faith Evans and managed to put it on the air. Nicci had a vision about where she was going with this show - which was ultimately a vehicle to push a tour on.

However what Syleena never came to terms with was this was Nicci's show.  After being on the show I think it gave Syleena's people more room to negoiate and put things together - like the tour idea.  Syleena came in after jumping on the bandwagon and took over. However Nicci Glibert will always have ideas of her own. A bit like Shaunie O'Neal.

We don't see the behind the scenes conflict but it's upsetting if someone you bought in suddenly comes and hijacks the show. However it doesn't matter because Syleena's attitude sucks in certains ways and her mouth and behaviour is pretty much against her.

Also Syleena's sister-manager is trying to do too many things regarding Syleena which is about short-term money rather than long term career development. For example the fitness DVD - does Syleena actually look like a woman who works out? I think not. Then the weave-hair deals. All these bring in money but they also diminish Syleena's brand in a way.

Will I be watching a season three of the R&B Divas Atlanta Chicks? I don't think so.

Love And Hip Hop Atlanta Season 2 Episode 9: Nikko gives Mimi an alleged fake Rolex then calls Mimi is deranged and damaged. Kirk is still wearing four earrings, Benzino give K Michelle a diamond necklace - more insults, fights and drama.

It Just Gets Worse

The situation goes from bad to worse and there are so many twists and turns that I'm trying to keep up. Stevie and Joseline meet and Joseline starts to whine about her record deal and getting the advance from it. She also accuses Stevie J of sleeping around - sticking his dick in everything or something like that. She also mentions buying TVs for hos....I think she means Che Mack.

Stevie J tells her the big international record deal is off but I wonder if it was really on in the first place. They trade insults again and Stevie tells Joseline that he owns her  and where he puts his beefcake and pipe is his own busness. Then he walks off with a girlie leather back pack. It really looks something a teenage girl would carry. So I guess Joseline and Stevie J are officially broken up.

Next is K Michelle going in for some damage control with Karlie Redd. We know K Michelle has beeen told to clean up her image however Karlie Redd tells her about a dis-record.

This boring and they suspend the water chucking and glass throwing to later in show.

Rasheeda talks to her mother who agrees with the rest of us that condom-and-pull-out Kirk is a bitch. They think four-earring Kirk is having an affair but I don't, I think Kirk doesn't really care about anything and comes over a complete asshole.

Rasheeda is checking his phone but maybe she is looking in the wrong place. The question should be does she still love Kirk?  I'm not sure I buy Kirk's style three earrings on one ear and one on another. Strange man. Anyway Kirk seems to imply his relationship with Rasheeda is more a business one with benefits - than a marriage and partnership.

Later on Kirk meets up with his battleaxe mother-in-law. Nothing much apart from lots of insults she called Kirk a bitch, and coward. She tries to lay her paws on Kirk but he walks away. Kirk doesn't care - he is like help is paying the mortoage or giving checks.

With Joseline clamping her thighs together and shutting out Stevie J he decides his next line is back to Mimi. He meets up with Ariane who gives him the information he needs. Mimi is having problems in her new relationship with Nikko.

We get to see Mimi doing her a photoshoot for her new venture. She is all dressed up in a maid's outfit when Nikko walks in.

Nikko comes into Mimi's shoot seeking attention and behaves like a loser. He is disruptive to the photo-shoot and plain disrespectful  telling Mimi to put her leg up like it's some porno shoot. Nikko is an embarrassment.

Mimi gets annoyed and then Nikko wants her to wear something and gives Mimi a Rolex - Mimi goes all industry hoe on him and asks him why doesn't it have diamonds on? Mimi is not impressed with the dinky Rolex. Mimi is high maintenance industry chick.

Mimi implies that Nikko is a cheap muthafucka by getting her a small dainty Rolex while he has a big chunky one with diamonds. Maybe that's all he can afford.

Anyway Nikko asks Mimi about to come to a video release party but she is angry about the cut she's seen. Apparently she didn't get enough screen time as the leading lady. OK.   Mimi is HIGH MAINTENANCE! Nikko suggests the video release party would be showing a different cut.

Benzino and Steive J meet up and restart their bromance again. Bros before Hos or something like that. Benzino complains about being single and wants a nice woman.   If only Benzino's brain and penis thought in the same way and agreed. Benzino's brain says the right thing but his penis loves industry hos.

Now that Stevie J shut out of Joseline's bedroom and kittykat  - basically Stevie has been officially dumped till Joseline decides she needs to dial-a-dick, Stevie J decides it's time to get Mimi back and Benzino tells him what he wants to hear - go for it sleazo!

Stevie J goes meets Mimi to test the water and is encouraged by her response. They get a bit cosy and Stevie J is all sleazy in his Stevie J way and looking at her new tattoo.

Somehow Mimi invites Stevie J to the Nikko Video screening. Oh boy!

How it all ends

Benzino also makes a mysterious appearance at K Michelle's birthday and gives her a diamond necklace. Karlie Redd seethes with jealousy saying he gave a diamond necklace with diamonds in it. It was more than she got. Who cares?

Well Karlie thinks because K Michelle didn't give her a slap at the first meet-up it was okay to give her a dis-record for her birthday. What happened to bubble bath, some nice perfume or chocolates? A dis record? For real? It didn't go down well.

Karlie Redd sings about  the alleged R Kelly scandal and Memphiz situation. K Michelle isn't impressed and it all kicks off with glass and water throwing.

Highlight of the show

Looking rough, unkempt and poor Nikko starts off the night by calling Mimi his  lady, friend and companion. Then announces the video.

Mimi is all dressed up with Ariane waiting for her big appearance. Two seconds - flat and she is out. If you blinked you'd have missed her. The video was rubbish with two men - Nikko and Johnny hogging the screen. They should have given Mimi more screen time - it would have made it classier.

Then Steve J walks in. He made an effort and looks better dressed than Nikko. Actually Nikko looks like a tramp and homeless hoodlum next to Stevie J.

They all sit down and Stevie looks at Mimi's new Rolex watch and declares it a fake. He says this to Nikko's face. Then he gives Mimi a present. A new BMW. Stevie J knows how to up stage.

Nikko tries to engage Stevie J in a fight but for some reason the girls (Mimi and Ariane) are more excited about the car. I would be too. So they all go out to see it. Ariane jumps inside and so does Mimi. Then she tells Stevie J she hopes there are no string attached. Stevie J says no but we and Mimi know it's unlikely to be the case.

To be fair a dinky allegedly fake Rolex can't match a BMW. Nikko is pissed off and starts to make demands about the car. It's going to be put in the garage. Nikko asks if Mimi is still on the bus or with him.

Nikko is disrespectful in a worse way than Stevie J.  Mimi feeling insulted starts to argue with Nikko. Nikko calls her damaged and deranged which was out of order.

Then Ariane starts to pull her away - we can tell Mimi has had a few drinks as it's mostly liquid power.  Nikko demands she stays at the video screening but Ariane just pulls Mimi away to go.

She is right - how can you call a woman deranged and damaged in public and expect her to stay with you.

R&B Divas Season 2 Episode 7: The Nicci and Syleena foolery goes on and Angie Stone and Latocha continue to bitch about Nicci Gilbert.

This show just gets worse and more toxic as it goes on I'd rather watch Love & Hip Hop Atlanta where the characters are honest about their situation.  If you want a kick ass review check out After Ellen Recap - after reading mine of course.

So let begin - Brownstone agree to reform at Nicci's house. Whatever...

More bickering with Latocha and Angie getting involved in the Nicci Drama.  It's so negative so I'm goind to touch on the good points.

Terez is thinking of marrying Monifah and speaks to a friend about it. Then she has  a conversation with Monifah's daughter Akemi.
Akemi is struggling to understand since is she a devoted christian but then concedes that God loves everyone.

Latocha and Angie try to get Monifah to come in on the Nicci bitching because Nicci had invited them on to sing at some event when she really wants to relauch Brownstone.  Monifah doesn't say much - actaully she does tell them they don't need to sing if they don't want to.  It seems it's ignored and the Nicci bashing and bitching goes on.

Syleena airs her family issues in counselling with her mother and other sisters.

Self appointed leader of the Group Angie Stone goes and confront's Nicci Gilbert about some charity event. The conversation doesn't seem to go down well with Nicci and it's more drama again!

And that is about it...
